Bloodletting



Qi is vital energy circulating in the body. When Qi or Blood flow stops or fully obstructs, it produces the pain. Bloodletting is the process of purposeful puncturing and removing blood from the affected area.

After puncturing the skin, one should forcefully remove the blood in order to have quick action. Practitioners use the cupping method for this purpose.

Bloodletting treatment is useful for seriously painful conditions. From ancient times, various practitioners have been using similar procedure.

This is also know as Wet-Cupping. Ayurvedic practitioners also follow a similar treatment from ancient times, which is known as “Raktamoxan”.

The other similar therapies practiced from ancient times are Hijama, and Acubekam therapy.

The application of bloodletting:

High Fever, throbbing and fixed pain because of falling from height, Pain because of excessive stretching, emotional problems, migraine headache, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Toothache, Pimples, Hot feeling, malnutrition in children, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fracture of ribs leading to extreme pain in any movement, Psoriasis, Knee joint inflammation, Sore throat, allergies, shoe bite.
