Pain in Nails

Patient Details:
Male 25 years old

Problem Faced:
He complained of having tremendous pain in all the fingernails if anything touched the nails. He has been suffering for the past 4 years. As per my routine, I did a tongue and pulse analysis and asked him if he had a complaint of fever. His eyes sparkled and he said usually I get malaria fever 8-10 times a year. I asked, “Since when?” He replied, “I was stuck in a chest level water on 26 July 2005 for more than 8 hours.” I remembered that this was the wettest day in Mumbai's rain history. Mumbai was flooded and it was a disaster. From that incident, his immunity went down. Subsequently, he started getting malaria fever almost every month. After some time, he started getting pain in his nails and it worsened day by day.

Treatment Adopted:
Based on diagnostic findings the acupuncture treatment plan was worked out and diet and lifestyle corrections were suggested. He was treated for 1 month period.

Result:
After the treatment, his pain was stopped completely and he also did not suffer from malaria fever afterwards.
