Patient Details:
Male 29 years old
Problem Faced:
He reported breathlessness, cough, and wheezing. In the early morning, the cough was unbearable and he was unable to sleep until it was removed. He was unable to walk for more than 5-6 minutes due to breathlessness. The use of an inhaler was extensive.
Treatment Adopted:
A 10 days course of acupuncture along with ear acupuncture was given. After a rest of 7 days, a course of 10 days was repeated. The diet was suggested.
Result:
After the first 10 treatments, the cough was eliminated. In a further 10 treatments, breathing was improved and wheezing was stopped. The usage of the inhaler was drastically reduced to nil. He was suggested to repeat the 7-day course of treatment during the season change.
