Patient Details:
Boy, 16 years old
Problem Faced:
He was suffering from epileptic seizure for the past 9 years. Since then, he was on medication suggested by a neurologist. The frequency of seizure was 5-6 times a day, which was quite alarming. Because of this reason he could not attend to the school and he left the education.
Treatment Adopted:
I conducted a 20-day acupuncture course for him.
Result:
After the treatment, his mother reported that the seizure was happening once or twice a day, and its intensity had decreased. I repeated the 20 session course on alternate days. After this course, the frequency of seizures reduced to once or twice a week.
After a break of 15 days, I repeated the 20 session course on alternate days. I called him for a follow-up after three months. O the follow-up session, his mother reported that the frequency of seizures reduced to once or twice a month.
